Horror Movie Posters
Made for an image editing class at Moorpark College and as personal passion projects using photos of everyday locations and Photoshop and Illustrator to arrange type and effects.
The Barn
Using an actual photograph I took, this fictitious movie poster was created in my image editing class at Moorpark College. The design incorporates Photoshop for the photo manipulation and Illustrator for the type. The idea behind the design is to lead the viewer into a world of a haunted barn in a forgotten western ranch in a 1950's Southern Californian setting.
I used various blending modes in Photoshop to make the photo look old and decrepit. Also I desaturated the photo to give it a vintage haunted aesthetic.
